  1. Travel as a group. Try to travel as a group like two couples or three couples; this will reduce the price considerably.

  3. Use similar hotels. If you choose a similar hotel outside of the main center, it will reduce the price. These are the hotels located in Eitti city, Anachal, Chithirapuram, Kunjithanni, etc.
  4. Instead of staying at Marari beach, you can stay in Kochi city to reduce the cost as medium type Marari hotels are costlier. Since its too close to Kochi, you can visit Marari beach and stay in Kochi.
  5. At present private houseboat is included.  Choose a sharing houseboat to reduce the cost. Please go here to know problems in sharing a houseboat.
  6. Instead of Houseboat in Aleppey, stay in a resort, and choose a shikkara or country boat for a backwater trip. This will reduce the cost.
  7. Travel by local bus. Local state transport bus connects all the tourist destinations in Kerala. You can travel to this local bus to reduce the cost.
  8. To reduce the cost, you can still join a group.  But unfortunately, there are no conducted tours or group tour operates by tour operators in Kerala
