Aleppey Houseboat Day Tour

This Alleppey Houseboat Day tour programme has been specially designed exclusively for the Cruise Ship Passengers who have only limited time to spend in Alleppey backwaters.  In this programme, Srees Tours ensure that, most of the good canals, villages and backwaters are covered.

 

PROGRAMME

0900hrs – Pick up from Samudrika Wharf and it takes 1.5hrs to reach Alleppey houseboat boarding Jetty.

1130hrs – Arrival at Alleppey boarding place and check in Houseboat. Trip start from Aleppey Jetty.

Another 1.5hrs, the houseboat makes a trip through some of the beautiful canals of Aleppey.

Punnamada Kayal – it’s a river of approx 70-80ft width.  This is the river every year, annual snake boat race is conducted.  The boat

SNDP Canal – approx 40-50ft width one can see a local temple and villages.

Irumbanam Canal – approx 25ft width, this is the one of the smallest canals in this trip, one side paddy field and one side local villages.

Meenappalli Kayal  – a beautiful l lake.

1300hrs – Lunch on board will be provided.  The houseboat will not stop for lunch as usual.

1300hrs till 1530hrs  – houseboat make a trip of another 2 more beautiful canals called –  Akkathara canal and Venattukad Canal.

1500hrs – Coffee/tea and snacks will be provided.  The house boat makes a trip through the big river and ends at Aleppey jetty at 1515hrs.

1515hrs – Departure for Samudrika Wharf.

1700hrs – Arrival at Whorf and Tour ends

Cost Inclusion

• English speaking guide throughout the trip.
• Private houseboat with welcome drink, Lunch, coffee/tea and snacks.
• Alleppey backwater sightseeing as per the details given above.
• All inclusive transportation. Pick up from Kochi Wharf and drop back Wharf.
