Cancellation Refund

Srees Tours – Tour operator based in Kochi, having office at Kumarakom.   We get our direct client enquiry generated for tour booking is purely online.  We used to collect an advance against tour bookings and balance full payment on arrival.  In case of any cancellation, we used to refund either the entire amount or part amount, depend upon the package, to the client.  Below is the detailed cancellation and refund policy of SreesTours.


Applicable from 01 April to 30 Sep.

  1. In case cancelled 5 days before arrival or first hotel booking, full amount will be refunded less 10% of the advance received (Ex in case a package starting on 15th Apr, cancellation must reach us on or before 12pm on10th
  2. In case cancelled 3 days before arrival or first booking, 50% of advance will be deducted and balance will be refunded.
  3. There is no cancellation and refund within 3 days. But we consider postpone the booking to another date provided the package or booking should complete before 30 Sep.
  4. This cancellation policy is not applicable for all the booking made for 5 star hotels. Actual cancellation and refund policy of 5 star hotels will be applicable.
  5. This cancellation and refund policy is not applicable for the booking made on national holidays, Onam and weekend bookings.
  6. Once the tour is started and the client cancel the tour midway, full amount of the package will be collected.
  7. In case of cancellation against booking made on weekends and national holidays, minimum 10days prior notice required.
  8. Houseboat cancellation and refund. That guest who have only booked houseboat will lose the advance paid, if cancelled within 15 days of check in. For example, check in date on 20 Apr, full refund available for all booking cancelled till 12pm on 5th

Applicable from 01 Oct to 20 Dec and 10 Jan to 31 Mar.

  1. In case cancelled 15 days before arrival or first hotel booking, full amount will be refunded less 10% of the advance received (Ex in case a package starting on 15th Apr, cancellation must reach us on or before 12pm on 31st Mar).
  2. In case cancelled 10 days before arrival or first booking, 50% of advance will be deducted and balance will be refunded.
  3. There is no cancellation and refund within 10 days. But we consider postpone the booking to another date, if rooms available, provided the package or booking should complete before 15 Dec.
  4. This cancellation policy is not applicable for all the booking made for 5 star hotels. Actual cancellation and refund policy of 5 star hotels will be applicable.
  5. This cancellation and refund policy is not applicable for the booking made on Diwali holidays, pooja holidays, national holidays and weekend bookings.
  6. Once the tour is started and the client cancel the tour midway, full amount of the package will be collected.

Peak Time Booking and Cancellation Policy – 20 Dec to 10 Jan.

Cancellation and refund of advance paid for booking during peak time which is inclusive of New Year and Xmas holidays is purely depend hotel policy.  But SreesTours ensure that even peak time booking cancellation and refund is sympathetically considered.  50% of advance amount will be refunded for all cancellations made 20 days prior.
