Along with, walking through the villages, visit an old church, experience a cart curving unit, meet local people, take a photo from the paddy field and much more. Below is the detailed itenrary and price for this trip.
- Boarding and Deboarding place – Alleppey Finishing Point Jetty or Punnamada jetty or Pallathuruthy Jetty or Canoe Ville
- Boarding time – 12:00hrs.
- Deboarding time – 09:00hrs on thrid day.
Day 1 : Alleppey.
Arrival at Alleppey Houseboat Boarding point by 11:45 AM. Meet our representative at the boarding jetty who will welcome, escort you to your private houseboat.
Houseboat Cruise Highlights (12:00 PM – 5:30 PM)
Enjoy a scenic cruise through Alleppey’s famous backwaters with a stop for a traditional Kerala lunch onboard. Witness and experience every day village life, lush green paddy fields and serene waterscapes.

- Punnamada Lake – This the river where annual annual Nehru Trophy Boat Race regatta is conducted
- Pamba River – Flowing from the Western Ghats via Alleppey to the Arabian Sea.
- SNDP Canal (Thod) – A narrow canal where both sides are local villages and experience a village life.
- Vembanad Lake – Biggest fresh water lake in Kerala, stunningly beautiful.
Exclusive Experience: Open Country Canoe tour (1 Hour). Disembark the houseboat for a memorable narrow canal journey in an open country canoe through Kuttamangalam Canal. Witness unexplored rural scenery, crossing under wooden bridges connecting village on the both sides.
Evening Cruise Through:
- Kuttithod – A small canal in Kainakari village.
- R-Block & C-Block – These are the paddy fields where paddy cultivated below sea level.

How to Reach
Arrival and Departure.
House boat boarding is from Alleppey finishing point jetty / Punnamada Jetty / Pallathuruthy Jetty or Canoe Villa. According to the class & type of boat booked, we will inform exact boarding place one day prior.
Nearest Arrival and Departure by Train/Bus:
- Best suitable Railway station / bus stand is Alleppey. Changanassery or Cherthala is also nearby by. Ernakulam rly station is 75kms from Alleppey.
Arrival and Departure Time:
- Houseboats check in is at 12 pm. On special cases, check in can be arranged an hr before, but this is not guaranteed. A delayed check in is also possible.
- Houseboats check out is at 09:00 hrs. Extension after 9 am is not available.
- In case your arrival is at Kochi airport or Ernakulam rly station, suitable arrival time is before 10am.

Houseboat Cruise and Other Details:
- Cruise time from 1200hrs to 1730hrs with 1hr lunch break. Next day start at 0800hrs to 0900hrs.
- Welcome drink, Lunch, evening coffee / tea and snacks, Dinner and Next day breakfast & Mineral water included.
- AC working time – Deluxe and premium (If not specifically booked an AC premium Boat) : 2100hrs to 0700hrs.
- Luxury : 24hrs AC.

- In case you have allergic to any particular food, it should be notified well in advance.
- Houseboat menu inclusive of Kerala local food. No continental or Chinese is available. Dlx boat menu is similar in all the houseboat. Luxury may have more additional food options.
- You have an option of visiting local sightseeing place by walking or walking through villages. In case you like to go for a short tour like this, this should be notified to the boat staff during check in time. The boat man will help you for the same.
- There are many ayurvedic massage centers are available where houseboat is halting. We do NOT recommend to book these massages during your houseboat stay as these are not properly licenced. Moreover, your sightseeing route will also be reduced.
- We do NOT recommend buying extra fish or any other food items from the local market. In case you are fond of a particular extra food, please inform this while booking so that minimial additional is charged.
- This programme is possible only if the guest check in at 12pm. In case of delayed check in, covering all the canals and rivers is not possible.
- Paddy fields are available only from Oct to Feb only.
- Big boats having more than 3 rooms and top floor will not make a trip through Akkathara and Venattukadu canals.
- Dinner time is at 2100hrs and at 2200hrs the lobby will be closed.
- In case of delayed check in, delayed check after 0900hrs is not possible since the boat is having another check in at 12pm. But all houseboats booked through SreesTours have special consideration. In case of late check in after 2pm, we avoid lunch break of an hour, extending trip till 6pm and next day till 0945-1000hrs in case possible.
- Smoking in Houseboats is strictly prohibited. In case found smoking, trip will be terminated and guest will be asked to check out without any refund.
- Early Checkout from Houseboat ie check out at 7am or before needs to be notified in advance as accordingly night halting location needs to be changed.
- Liquor will not be provided by the service provider. But that guest who wants to consume liquor can bring their items and can be used in the boat. For those who cannot bring their stuff, SreesTours provide the same in the boat. The same need to be ordered in advance with extra service charges.
- Night Halt of Houseboat. All the houseboat owners have their own night halting place. This cannot be changed in case the guest does not like the place.
- Houseboat cannot be halted on the road side or in front of local homes, middle of the lake or river. Or any request due to any reasons by guest to change the halting location will not be entertained.
- Baby coat or child cradle is not available.
- Extra mattress on the floor is available for extra adult. Extra beds are not available.
Itinerary
Arrival at Alleppey railway station and transfer to fresh up room from 6 A.M to 11:00 Hrs.
After a morning cruise check from the houseboat and proceed to the resort. relax in the resort and evening visit Alleppey beach and shopping at Alleppey town. Overnight stay in the resort.
After breakfast check out from the resort and drop at Alleppey railway station. Tour ends.
