About This Tour:
Kumarakom and Houseboat is one of the best places in Kerala for short and relaxing trip
for those who do not want to travel too much on road. Kumarakom is just 2.5 hrs drive from Kochi airport.
Best suited arrival time at Kochi airport is any time morning and departure should be
afternoon for those who look for some shopping and sightseeing at Kochi.
Those who are coming by train or bus, Kottayam rly station or Bus stand is the nearest to
Kumarakom. Kumarakom is just 16kms / 20mins drive from Kottayam rly station / bus stand.
Day 1: Kochi – Kumarakom (95 Kms 2.5 Hrs)
Arrival at Kochi airport, meet, receive and transfer to Kumarakom. Arrival and transfer to
Hotel. Leisure at lake side resort.
Day 2: Kumarakom

Day 3: Houseboat
Check in Houseboat at 12:00 hrs. Cruise and sightseeing. Visit Alleppey backwaters,
villages, canals, Islands etc. The boat can stop some of the places and you can walk in the village to see and
experience the village life – the best way to experience Alleppey backwaters in Houseboat. Lunch, evening snacks,
dinner and breakfast will be provided.
Options and Activities:
- Fishing in the lake and backwaters.
Day 4: Kumarakom – Fort Kochi (2 Hrs)
After houseboat trip in the morning through Vembanadu lake with B/F, check out and proceed
to Fort Kochi. Visit Jewish synagogue, Dutch palace, Chinese fishing nets, shopping at Broad way Ernakulam and by
evening drop at Kochi airport. Tour ends.

Houseboat:
