About This Tour:
Day 1:
After breakfast departure for Munnar. Enroute visit Valera water falls, Karadippara View Point, Kallar Falls and Cheeyappara Falls. Check in resort. Half day sightseeing of Munnar. Rajamalai and Eravikulam national park.
Dep at 12:00 hrs. Cruise through Vembanadu Lake and R Block. Lunch at R Block. After lunch cruise through 6000 canal, C Block, Kuppapuram river and Pallathuruthy. Night stay at Pallathuruthy.
Day 2:
Dep at 10:00 Hrs. Cruise through Kanjuppadam canal, Pindithod canal, Chambakulam. Visit Champakulam Chundan (Snake Boat). Lunch at Munnattumugham. Proceed to Ranganathan Jetty (Puthanaryiram). Transfer to small rice/motor boat for cruise through narrow canals where the houseboat could not operate.
2 hrs narrow canal cruise. Akkathara Thod, Chennekeri canal, Kainakeri canal, Muttam Thod, Erumbanam thod, Punchiri Thod, Punnamada via SNDP thod, Panakkal thod. Night stay at Kuppapuram thod. Motor boat cruise ends at Panakkal Thod.
Day 3:
After morning cruise checkout at Aleppey Punnamada Jetty OR Kumarakom. Cruise ends.
How to Reach
Arrival and Departure:
Kumarakom can be reached easily by road, rail, or air. The nearest airport is Cochin International Airport, about 73 km away. Travel time from the airport is around 2 to 2.5 hours by car.
Nearest Arrival and Departure by Train/Bus:
The closest railway station is Kottayam, just 15 km from Kumarakom. Changanassery is also nearby. From both stations, buses, taxis, and autos are available to reach your stay.

Itinerary
After breakfast, drive to Munnar with stops at waterfalls and viewpoints. Later, visit Rajamalai and Eravikulam National Park, then depart for houseboat cruise through Vembanadu Lake and nearby areas.
Morning cruise through backwaters and visit Champakulam Chundan. After lunch, enjoy a 2-hour narrow canal ride by motorboat and stay overnight at Kuppapuram Thod.
After a peaceful morning cruise, check out at Alleppey Punnamada Jetty or Kumarakom.
