Lakes and Lagoon, a prominent and an old houseboat operator at Alleppey are taking care of the booking and operation. Blue Jelly has two boats having 3 rooms each. Blue Jelly Onyx and Blue Jelly Opal. The only difference with the two boats is – Onyx has imported marbles floor in rooms and lobby and Opal has wooden flooring. Remaining all facilities and ambiance offered in the two boats are similar. The decor of the room and lobby sealing is different. Though the boats have three rooms, if required, one can book this boat only for 2 rooms also with the reduced price.

Both the houseboat is having a beautifully decorated bedroom, especially the bed – wooden sapramanja kattil – which is used by old rich people in Kerala. The washroom has modern and expensive items fitted for the utmost comfort of the guests. Apart from that, they have a marina constructed where the houseboat is docked overnight. The marina provides a free swimming pool, children playing area and indoor games exclusively for the guests after 17:30 hrs when the houseboat makes a final halt after the full day trip.
