After break fast transfer to Thekkady. On the way visit Lockhart Gap View and tea Plantation. Check in at Hotel. Elephant Safari – Private persons are having elephants and one can have elephant safari. It does not go through forest and approximate charges @ 600 per person. Kathakali and Kalaripayattu – Art form and martial art is being organized by private parties and it start around 6pm. Entry fee @ Rs 250 per head. 0700hrs – Boating in Periyar wild life sanctuary. Either needs to book in advance or take a ticket from the counter. The boating start at 0730hrs till 0900hrs. The boat make a trip through the river, both sides forest and early morning boating have chances of wild life sporting . B/F at hotel and proceed to Houseboat. It take almost 3.5hrs by road to reach Houseboat. Check in Houseboat at 1300Hrs. Cruise and sightseeing in Vembanad lake. Cruise through vembanadu lake where you will visit R Block and C Block where paddy cultivated below sea level. Cruise through canals of Alleppey. The boat can stop some of the places and you can walk in the village to see and experience the village life – the best way to experience Alleppey backwaters in Houseboat.
